The music in the film “the graduate” is one of my favorite songs. Its name is “the sound of the silence”. In the film, Ben is a graduate. He is quite wondering about his future. In his journey of exploration, he made many mistakes but at last, he went back to the church and ran with his girl. The song is just like the inner sound of the graduates nowadays. When we first enter the society, we are confused what we should do and what we can do. There are so many temptations and we may be attracted by them. At last, we may make some wrong decisions. In the end, we may lose our enthusiasm and passion. Both the film and the music are the reflection of us. When I listen to the song, I find that I miss the time of my young times very much. In the time I were young, I could wear the clothes I wanted to and took my cool cartier sunglasses ignoring the others’ opinions. In the time I had my dream and believed that I would realize it at last. However, things change and I am no longer the one I am used to be. I no longer insist on my dreams and do things on my pleasure. Therefore, I love the song for it always recalls my precious time in my life.
